About

Same pattern.
Every time.

Every role started the same way: walk in knowing nothing, figure out how it works, deliver. Then they ask me to come back.

Gold, rooftops, stages, property, code. Different industries, same pattern: show up, learn fast, deliver, get asked back. The skill isn't any one domain. The skill is figuring out new domains fast enough to be useful in them.

Now I do that with machines. I describe what a tool should do and a working version shows up in my browser. The jump from selling gold across a table to directing an AI to build software is smaller than it sounds. Both require the same thing: understand what the other side needs, then deliver it.

Career

The chapters.

Not a resume. A sequence of bets that kept paying off.

Prompt Engineer — Roam Research

I describe what a tool should do and a working version shows up in my browser. Every project on the projects page was built this way. Not writing code line by line, but knowing exactly what to ask for.

AI Artist & Filmmaker

Wrote a song through Suno, directed the visuals through Runway and Grok, assembled a full music video through prompts. Broken Future was written, directed, and produced entirely by prompt. No crew. No studio.

Standup Comedy

Performed at The Shaskeen, Strange Brew, LPNH Convention. Getting a room full of strangers to laugh requires the same thing as getting a machine to build what you want: you have to know what the other side needs to hear.

Door-to-Door Sales

Sold internet service door to door in Manchester, NH. The hardest sales job there is. If you can sell something to someone who didn't ask for it and doesn't want to see you, you can sell anything.

🥇

Precious Metals Sales

Gold and silver, face to face. A different kind of sales — you're selling trust, not a product. The person across from you has to believe you know what you're talking about before they hand over real money.

🏠

Operations & Property Management

Managed properties, ran day-to-day operations in NH. This is where I built SlugTime — got tired of tracking contractor hours on paper, built a tool to replace the process. That became QuoteTime.

📡

Infrastructure & Telecom

Internet install tech in Manchester. Ran cable, installed equipment on rooftops, worked on top of NH's tallest building. Nothing teaches you how systems actually work like building them with your hands at 200 feet.

Compound Skills

What carries over.

These aren't resume keywords. They're the actual reason every new domain works.

Pattern Recognition

Every industry has the same fundamental problems wearing different costumes. Spotting the pattern underneath is faster than learning from scratch every time.

Selling to Strangers

Gold, internet, comedy tickets. If you can read the room and deliver what someone didn't know they wanted, you can get anything built, funded, or shipped.

Shipping Fast

Two weeks from concept to working product. Not because corners get cut — because the same loop (build, test, fix, ship) works at any speed if you've done it enough times.

Reading the Room

Comedy stages, sales floors, client calls. The ability to sense what someone actually needs — not what they say they need — compounds in every context.
